WORKMANSHIP: Crafted with traditional Japanese standards, our wakizashi sword is meticulously handmade. Each piece embodies the essence of traditional swordsmithing.
BLADE: The T10 steel blade is full tang, hand-forged, clay-tempered, and water-quenched. The authentic hamon (temper line) ensures a high level of hardness. Our skilled artisans polish the blade to razor sharpness, making it perfect for real cutting, including tameshigiri.
TSUKA (HILT) AND SAYA (SCabbard): Our hilt is a wooden design wrapped with genuine ray skin, complete with traditional leather ito (winding). A mekugi (peg) keeps the wrap secure, and it can be easily disassembled for maintenance. The scabbard is made of hardwood, finished with lacquering to protect and enhance its aesthetic appeal.
FITTINGS: Quality and refinement are reflected in every component. Our tsuba (hand guard), fuchi (sword collar), and kashira (pommel) are crafted from high-quality alloy. The habaki (blade collar) and seppa (spacers) are made of brass. Expert assembly ensures a seamless integration of these components, resulting in a finely balanced tanto sword.
CUSTOMIZATION: Handcrafted in our studio by experienced masters, each of our swords is guaranteed to maintain a high standard of quality. Customization options include modifications to fittings, color matching, and even the creation of a personal, unique blade. Contact us for more detailed options on customization.
